Band-Keratopathy
Band-Keratopathy is characterised by a white band across the central cornea formed by precipitations of calcium on the corneal surface. The symptoms are either foreign body sensation or decreased vision. This can result from a variety of causes including chronic inflammation, trauma from repeated surgeries or application of eye drops with high concentration of phosphate.
