Salzmann nodules

If patients complain about foreign body sensation or blurred vision, Salzmann nodules can be excised with minimal effort. The gold standard is manual excision as excimer lasers did not show better results. After the procedure, a bandage contact lens will be used for a week to protect the surface and facilitate healing.
